The main finish we use is OSMO Oil/Wax coatings. For their ease of maintenance and eco-friendly manufacturing process creating a non-toxic environment in your home.

Osmo Natural wood finishes. Durable. Stain resistant. High coverage. All the goodness of nature.

Good for both humans and wood.

Osmo finishes are based on natural oils and waxes. The oil penetrates into the wood surface, protecting the wood from deep within. The waxes form an elastic, micro porous surface which protects the wood from moisture and abrasion.  The wood remains naturally beautiful, protected and durable.

The Sunflower, Soya, Linseed and Thistle Oils which are the basis of our wood finishes, as well as the waxes and pigments we use are classified as food safe.  Disaromatised and benzene free white spirit ensures the finishes are easy to spread.

The result: an eco-friendly manufacturing process and a non-toxic environment in your home.

Wood Oils

OSMO Wood Oils are designed and produced to meet the individual demands of exotic wood species. While the oils are suitable for use on any timber, the names of their colours (such as Bangkirai, Garapa, Massaranduba, Thermowood, Larch and Douglas Fir) suggest the timbers they have been formulated for.

Use either a 2 coat application as a stand alone finish, or one coat if the oil is being used as a base coat under one of OSMO’s clear exterior oils.
